What We’ve Learned About Inclusion in 2024

As 2024 came to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we’ve achieved, what we’ve learned, and where we can go from here. That year has been a transformative one for inclusion in workplaces, schools, and communities. From embracing accessible communication tools to fostering deeper connections with diverse individuals, we’ve taken meaningful steps toward a more inclusive world.

Here are the key lessons we’ve learned about inclusion in 2024:

1. Inclusion Requires Intentionality

Inclusion doesn’t happen by accident; it takes deliberate effort. That year, we saw organizations taking the time to assess their communication barriers, implement inclusive policies, and provide training for their teams. Whether it was offering ASL workshops or redesigning spaces to be more accessible, these intentional steps made a real difference.
